- Postcapitalist Political Economy
Since 2018, I have been one of the coordinators of the research group on democratic economic planning at CRITS. We have three objectives: (1) to understand and compare the different theoretical models in postcapitalist political economy; (2) to extract from these models a set of 鈥渕odules鈥 concerning specific institutions and conduct comparative studies of them; (3) to gain a better understanding of Qu茅bec鈥檚 economic sectors in order to explore how the insights coming from these models and modules could be applied.
- Poverty, Inequality, and Public Finance
Since 2006, I have participated in the work of the Institut de recherche et d’information socio茅conomiques (IRIS). As part of this work, I helped develop indicators that intersect poverty, inequality, and public finance metrics. These indicators are now compiled annually by Statistics Canada. I am currently involved in designing training programs that will enable other researchers to use them effectively.
- Media and Public Relations
I worked as a communications professional for several years. I have published two books on these topics: Illusions : Petit manuel pour une critique des m茅dias, Lux, 2013, and Intrigues : Petit manuel pour une critique des relations publiques, Lux, 2025. In this project, I seek to theorize the challenges encountered in communication practice through a diverse body of literature.
